Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA)

Citizens of eTA-required countries need an eTA and a valid passport to board a flight to Canada, and no visitor visa. An eTA is not needed when arriving by land or sea (except by boat from Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, excluding cruise ships). Citizens of some visa-required countries may be eligible for an eTA instead of a visa if they meet certain requirements and travel by air.
