Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA)

Citizens of the listed eTA-required countries need an eTA and a valid passport to board a flight to Canada, and no visitor visa. An eTA is not needed when arriving by car, bus, train or boat, including cruise ships, except when travelling by sea from Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon (excluding cruise ships), where an eTA is needed to board. Citizens of some visa-required countries may be eligible for an eTA instead of a visa if they meet certain requirements and travel by air.
